Refund policy
We want you to feel confident shopping with The Long Evening. Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of receiving your order.
To request a return, contact us at hello@thelongevening.com within 30 days of delivery. Please include your order number and the item you would like to return.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition in which it was received, and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase may be required.
Please do not return an item without contacting us first. Once your return request has been reviewed, we will provide the appropriate return instructions and return destination. Items returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us promptly at hello@thelongevening.com so we can help resolve the issue.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photos of the product
- Photos of the packaging and any visible shipping damage
Please keep the product and its original packaging while the issue is being reviewed.
We will work with you to determine the appropriate next steps.
Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are not eligible for return, including personalized or custom products, gift cards, final-sale items, and products specifically identified as non-returnable at the time of purchase.
Some large, specialized, or freight-delivered products may have product-specific return requirements. When applicable, these restrictions will be identified for the product.

Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If an item is eligible for return and your return is approved, you may return it according to the instructions provided and place a new order for the replacement item.
If your order arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us before placing a replacement order so we can assist you.
Return Shipping
For approved returns that are not the result of damage, defect, or an incorrect item, return shipping costs may be the customer's responsibility.
Large or freight-delivered products can incur significant return transportation costs. Any applicable return shipping costs or fees will be communicated to you before the return is authorized.
If an item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us so we can review the issue and provide appropriate instructions.
Do not ship a return to the address shown on the original package unless we specifically instruct you to do so.
Refunds
Once an approved return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the status of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
Original shipping or additional delivery-service charges, if any, may not be refundable unless required by law or the return resulted from an error with your order.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at hello@thelongevening.com.
We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request. However, once an order has entered processing, been prepared for shipment, or shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible and the applicable return process may apply.
