Setup & Care

Because this fountain weighs 102.5 pounds, two people are recommended for positioning and setup. Choose its location before installation and place it on a firm, level surface. A prepared pad or paving surface is preferable to bare soil, where the fountain’s weight may cause uneven settling over time.

Keep enough water in the reservoir to cover the pump at all times. With seven separate falls, evaporation and wind can reduce the water level more quickly than with a smaller fountain, so check it every few days during warm weather. Remove leaves and other debris from the ledges to maintain proper water flow.

The textured rock finish and copper-toned spouts are painted resin. Clean them with a soft cloth and avoid harsh liquid cleaners. In hard-water areas, remove mineral buildup around the spouts regularly before deposits become difficult to clean.

Before hard freezes, completely drain the reservoir and all ledge pools, disconnect the pump and store the pump indoors. Allow the fountain to dry thoroughly. Because of its weight, moving the entire fountain indoors may not be practical; once drained and dry, covering it is the recommended option.

The fountain should not be climbed on. Place the electrical cord along a protected edge where it will not create a tripping hazard. Recirculating water is not intended for drinking.
