Blue Spectacle layers petal upon petal into a full, rounded bloom that resembles a peony, finished in an unusual violet-blue tone that stands apart from traditional spring colors. At about 20 inches tall, it brings substantial late-spring color without overwhelming mixed borders or containers.
Use it in mass plantings, cutting gardens, patio pots, or window boxes. The sturdy upright stems also make beautiful long-lasting cut flowers.
